WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis is a natural state of deep physical and mental relaxation. In this state your subconscious opens and accepts
positive suggestions and imagery.
A natural altered state of mind entered spontaneously many times a day. It can be thought of as daydreaming,
meditating, mind wandering. The critical conscious mind that does our reasoning and thinking, the only mind of which you
are fully aware of, kind of drifts off and the subconscious takes over. To get powerful, lasting results, that are fairly rapid,
in therapy it is necessary to reach the subconscious mind.
Hypnosis is a bridge to the subconscious mind and is intended to help you gain more control over undesired behaviors
or emotions. In a state of hypnosis you are aware of your surroundings but feel so relaxed that the usual distractions
seem to fade away. You are always in control and accept only the suggestions which are beneficial for you. You do
remember what you have said and done while in trance.
